How to Organize Your Beach Bag for Spring Break

Daylight savings time gave us an extra hour of sunlight and we have to make the most of it. For spring break the girls and I decided to head to the beach, for some much needed margaritas, sun and most of all TLC. When you spend the whole day at the beach, it’s important to pack everything you need for the day! I don’t know about you but once I get on the beach, I never want to leave.

I will share my own set of beach bum tips to stay organized at the beach for a day of sun and fun! Of course, I will take my favorite OTG|247 bags to keep all my belongings organized and safe.

Keep Your Electronics Protected:

I love to take my GoPro and speaker to the beach more than anything. But as an avid beach-goer, I know that sand is the worst enemy! The #5 Bag fits my bluetooth speaker, GoPro, and phone. This also keeps them dry, which is a must!

Always Pack Snacks:

It’s important to stay hydrated and snack throughout the day even if you don’t feel hungry. I carry water, apples, crackers and granola bars in my #7 Bag.  PSSTT, I may sneak in a couple of cold Coronas (cans of course) and limes too.

Keep Your Dry Change of Clothes Separate:

Beach days can turn into beach sunsets and possibly drinks after with the girls. I always pack a dry change of clothes inside my beach bag for any impromptu plans that might happen. My #8 Bag is just the right size for holding my second change of clothes to keep them dry and sand-free for a night out or dinner after the beach.

Protect Yourself from the Sun:

Getting a tan is the point of a beach day, right? Of course it is! But when you spend the whole day at the beach you need to apply sunscreen and wear a hat to protect your skin, especially on your face and sensitive areas. Nothing ruins a beach bound weekend like getting an awful burn the first day! To keep the fun going all weekend and to protect my skin, I carry my sunscreen and other sun products inside my #6 Bag.

Remember, the best part about all of these bags is they are waterproof!  When you get home just rinse out all of the sand from the day and air dry them.

Now that I’ve shared my best tips and tricks, I hope that you can channel your inner mermaid on the beach this spring break!
