New Year Discipline, HELLO 2020 VISION!

New Year Discipline, HELLO 2020 VISION!

NEW YEAR, NEW ORGANIZED YOU! Each year, we set aside goals to complete and hope we hit the mark. Whether your goal is health and fitness-related or personal improvement, you’ve got it. It’s time to toss out your old habits and start some better routines. In 2020, we’re taking control of our lives by simplifying life, becoming more disciplined by creating new systems. You can’t do it alone so let OTG|247 help. Implement Healthy Eating Habits When you’re a working woman, it’s easy to get so caught up in the business that you forget to feed yourself. That usually results in a trip to the vending machine or worse— skipping a meal entirely. Don’t let your belly suffer. Pack added lunches and snacks and keep them in your desk with #7 bag. Whether it’s a hot soup or a cold sandwich and fruit, this is the bag you need. The Foodie is insulated to keep your food at the proper temperature. More importantly, it’s OTG|247 so it’s sure to be more stylish than a lunch sack. The removable strap can be added to turn it into a crossbody so if you’re not spending your day at the desk but rather on the move, you can take your snacks too. Become a Fitness Guru Planning to hit the gym is always great until you realize that you have to drive all the way home to get ready. Not fun! Save time by snagging a #10 bag or two. It’s perfect to keep in the car because it can hold fitness accessories as well as gym clothes. No more stopping at the house to change and end up getting sidetracked from the gym. You can even toss your gym clothes back inside post work out.  The waterproof lining makes for easy cleaning and doesn’t hold a smell like traditional gym bags. Not that’s a power move! Start A Vlog If you’re looking to start vlogging, then a #9 bag is a  must for you. The Techie will fit your laptop, camera, tripod, and gimbal. The removable strap makes lugging it all a breeze. You never know when you’ll need to whip out your camera and although it might fit in a standard purse, there is no way your equipment will too. While you could opt for a backpack, they are bulky and far from the OTG|247 level of style. More importantly, the bag is waterproof. If coffee spills or you get caught in a rainstorm, your pricey items are safe. Get to an umbrella, point, and film the fiasco for your fans to see. XOXO {O}verly {O}rganized Amie

Hello Spring Cleaning - OTG|247 Bags

Hello Spring Cleaning - OTG|247 Bags

Out with the old and on to organizing the NEW!  Hello Spring! It’s time for your annual spring cleaning. Out with the old and on to organizing the new, can be a very cleansing experience. Have you been holding on to some extra junk around the house? Letting go can be really refreshing, especially with my tips and tricks to declutter your life and to get ready for Spring. Spring means growth everywhere! Being surrounded by a beautiful garden is good for the soul. Store your gardening supplies in our #9 bag. The #9 bag is padded for your laptop, but is also serves well to protect all of your tools and adding the strap is perfect way to wear them cross body and keep em at your fingertips. You can also hang your gardening bag on a coat rack next to your door. Give your used items to a worthy cause! Think outside of popular thrift stores. Research your local charity thrift shops and pick a cause you stand for! Parting with old items can be hard but it feels better knowing you are making a difference.  For the really awesome, designer fab items send them to www.threalreal.com! Follow the paper trail...to my desk. Sometimes sorting your pile of papers and junk mail can be a job of its own. It’s time to clear the paper clutter for good. Put on a good playlist and start sorting from left to right until you have cleared the whole room. Keep all your important legal and medical documents in a #10 bag. You always want to be prepared and have your most important information ready if there is an emergency.  And use a #8 bag to store your everyday “pending” file so it is easy to take on the go while working on the road. I’m guilty of this- having a drawer of make-up and random cosmetics…”just in case!” Not only is it messy, it can stain your drawer if it isn’t sealed correctly! Check the dates and dump the old dried, stuff. Separate your items in to base (concealer, foundation, blush), eyes, lips and samples for travel! Store each group in a #4 nudie bag and file them in your drawer. I hope that each of you have a wonderful Spring season and declutter, clean and most of all grow! XOXO {O}verly {O}ranized Amie

Wedding Season is Here! Make Your Life Simple!

Wedding Season is Here! Make Your Life Simple!

How to Organize With OTG|247 For Your Wedding! I married the love of my life just a few weeks ago and it was the best day of my life. Everything was perfect! The planning process, as we all know, doesn’t always run as smoothly as the actual wedding day. I chose not to go with a wedding planner, which meant there had to be a system of organization in place. My secret? OTG|247.   There may be times when you may feel like a HOT MESS in the months leading up to the wedding, but it doesn’t mean your handbag has to be. I used a different OTG|247 bag for different aspects of planning. For example, I kept my folder with all of the vendor paperwork in my #10 bag, and I kept my planner and iPad in my #8 bag. Both of these bags stayed with me at ALL times during the year-long planning process, because you never know when you might have to schedule a call to fix a florist crisis! One thing I knew for certain during the planning process was what I was gifting my bridesmaids the day of the wedding: OTG|247! For the older girls, I went with the white #5 bag and for the younger girls, I went with the #1 bag. I added a gold monogram to each bag to give them a special touch. The best part is that the girls were able to use these as their clutches for the evening, while still being able to use it beyond just the wedding day! Wedding planning can be stressful, but it’s important to remember what’s important at the end of the day. Keep yourself organized with OTG|247 and try to find the joy in each moment of planning because it’s one of the most special times in your life!   XOXO {O}verly {O}ranized Roxy Rooney #CelebrateShe CONGRATULATIONS TO ONE of our very own OTG 247 Girls ROXY ROONEY on her wedding!  ❤️ She is Beautiful, She is Smart, She is Creative, She is Fabulous, She is Married! ❤️ XOXO OTG|247  #CelebrateShe

Are You Ready For The Beach?

Are You Ready For The Beach?

How to Organize Your Beach Bag for Spring Break  Daylight savings time gave us an extra hour of sunlight and we have to make the most of it. For spring break the girls and I decided to head to the beach, for some much needed margaritas, sun and most of all TLC. When you spend the whole day at the beach, it’s important to pack everything you need for the day! I don’t know about you but once I get on the beach, I never want to leave. I will share my own set of beach bum tips to stay organized at the beach for a day of sun and fun! Of course, I will take my favorite OTG|247 bags to keep all my belongings organized and safe. Keep Your Electronics Protected: I love to take my GoPro and speaker to the beach more than anything. But as an avid beach-goer, I know that sand is the worst enemy! The #5 Bag fits my bluetooth speaker, GoPro, and phone. This also keeps them dry, which is a must! Always Pack Snacks: It’s important to stay hydrated and snack throughout the day even if you don’t feel hungry. I carry water, apples, crackers and granola bars in my #7 Bag.  PSSTT, I may sneak in a couple of cold Coronas (cans of course) and limes too. Keep Your Dry Change of Clothes Separate: Beach days can turn into beach sunsets and possibly drinks after with the girls. I always pack a dry change of clothes inside my beach bag for any impromptu plans that might happen. My #8 Bag is just the right size for holding my second change of clothes to keep them dry and sand-free for a night out or dinner after the beach. Protect Yourself from the Sun: Getting a tan is the point of a beach day, right? Of course it is! But when you spend the whole day at the beach you need to apply sunscreen and wear a hat to protect your skin, especially on your face and sensitive areas. Nothing ruins a beach bound weekend like getting an awful burn the first day! To keep the fun going all weekend and to protect my skin, I carry my sunscreen and other sun products inside my #6 Bag.   Remember, the best part about all of these bags is they are waterproof!  When you get home just rinse out all of the sand from the day and air dry them. Now that I’ve shared my best tips and tricks, I hope that you can channel your inner mermaid on the beach this spring break! XOXO {O}verly {O}ranized Amie #CelebrateShe

How to Organize your Ski Bag for Spring Break

How to Organize your Ski Bag for Spring Break

How to Organize your Ski Bag for Spring Break Spring Break is approaching and it’s time to let loose and explore! This Spring, my family and I decided to go on a much needed ski trip. Whether you are mastering the advanced course or hopping down the bunny hill, it’s important to stay organized in an efficient way. Ski attire can be bulky enough, so make sure you pack lightly when you are hitting the slopes. I have created a guide for first time skiing enthusiasts for what you and your family should bring to be prepared and most importantly be safe, and have fun! Of course, I am taking my favorite On the Go Bags, the #10, #8 and the #4 bag. #10 Bag I use my number #10 bag to keep larger items for what I need after a long day of skiing. I usually keep my #10 bag in my locker of the resort for quick access. Extra Socks - One thing that I’ve always found that my family and I needed were extra socks for during & after our skiing adventures. Nothing can dampen (pun intended) your vacation like being stuck in cold, wet socks. I usually pack at least one extra pair of wool socks if I need a quick change before I go back on the slopes again. Extra Long Johns - Always pack water resistant material when you are shopping for gear. That means no cotton long johns, because they never dry! I always keep extra pairs so we can change quickly in the locker room and get right back to skiing. #8 Bag The #8 bag is great to hold items with me when I am walking around the resort in between activities to keep my family’s items safe and above all, dry! Ski Goggles - This may sound funny, but it’s easy to forget to pack these guys. Make sure that your eyes are protected from the elements like the sun, snow, and wind. Fur Beanie Hat - Keeping your head covered is a must! You lose most of your body heat in this area. This makes all the difference in staying warm all day, especially for the kiddos.  And, you don’t want to run around with helmet hair! Hand-warmers -Especially for kids, this is a must to keep their hands warm on the coldest of days. You can also put these hand-warmers in your little one’s ski boots as well. #4 Bag The #4 bag is the perfect size to bring with you on the slopes. It is compact and won’t weigh you down or add extra bulk to your gear. These are my essentials that I put in my #4 bag when I’m physically out skiing. Chapstick - Protect you and your children’s sensitive lips from the dry wind and apply chapstick throughout the day. Sunscreen Stick - It may be cold but the sun actually reflects off the white snow and makes the sun that much more intense! Make sure you use sunscreen on your face, or any exposed areas. Band-aids - Of course we never plan for an accident but I always keep a small amount of first aid-supplies with us just in case. Credit Card/Cash - Getting hot choclate and other goodies shouldn’t involve a trip back to the locker room. To keep our day going I always keep my credit card ready for a snack break. Lift Ticket/Ski Pass- There is nothing fun about getting to the lift and not having your pass XOXO {O}verly {O}ranized Abby #CelebrateShe

Time to Organize the Gym Bag! Bikini Season is around the corner!

Time to Organize the Gym Bag! Bikini Season is around the corner!

Time to Organize the Gym Bag! Bikini Season is around the corner! Let’s face it Bikini Season is around the corner and we need to kick our health game into gear! Getting to the gym can be the hardest part, right? Sometimes that’s the case but having an organized gym bag can make life easier. I get it- after a long day of work you can lose momentum if you make that trip home first.   To make life easier, I have set out a list to help you all get organized so you can tackle the gym like a pro and make Beyoncé proud!   Carry protein-rich snacks for before and after your workout. The #7 Foodie bag is perfect for storing protein bars, shakes and other snacks like trail mix within your gym bag. After all no one wants to eat a smashed protein bar that’s been living in a shoe for days. Keep your gym shoes separate. It goes without saying that your sneakers can smell a little funky from time to time. Keep your shoes in a #8 or #10 bag with dryer sheets. Dryer sheets absorb the odor and dampness of your shoes for your next trip to the gym. Always carry backup headphones in a protective bag. Forgetting your headphones at the gym can be borderline soul-crushing. Always have a back up pair in your gym bag just in case. Having your headphones securely in a #2 bag can make them last longer. Roll your gym clothes “sleeping bag style” to save the most room. This has been a long-time technique used by the military to save the most space in a bag. Try it out and see the difference it makes.  Post workout take your sweaties home in a #8 bag …REMEMBER, the bags are waterproof so you can just wipe it out when you get home! I hope that by becoming more organized you feel like you can take on the gym & own the new organized you! Save room and make the most of your space when you use on the go bags to help!   XOXO Love, Abby #CelebrateShe

Are You Sticking to YOUR New Year’s Resolutions?

Are You Sticking to YOUR New Year’s Resolutions?

Are You Sticking to YOUR New Year’s Resolutions? Have you been sticking to your New Year's resolutions? Don’t worry, everyone faces setbacks. Like the old saying goes, if you fall off the horse you have to get back on! The most important thing to sticking to your goals and resolutions is to believe in yourself, trust the process and above all love yourself first.   Whether you are trying to get back in the gym or master a new hobby, self love is the most important ingredient. Deadlines at work, kids and on top of that room for growth can be quite a challenge. I have put together a few tips for my fellow ladies for the ultimate guide to self love and reaching your goals.   Don’t beat yourself up for not sticking to your resolution perfectly.   Creating a habit it just that- a habit! Forming these habits take time. Give yourself small goals at a time until you reach your ultimate goal or resolution.   Always have a gym bag packed in your car. By always have a gym bag available to you in your car, it is easier to go when you have no excuses! Fill your #10 Bag with a change of gym clothes and a protein shake for after your workout.   List everything you’re thankful for during stressful times. Sometimes we can get caught up in the day to day and lose sight of the bigger picture. When you’re feeling overwhelmed list everything that you’re thankful for and all of the qualities you love about yourself.   Treat yourself, you deserve it! Let’s talk money people. Expenses and saving for the future are all great qualities to have! However, you have to enjoy everything that you’ve worked hard for. It’s okay to treat yourself to a day at the spa or a new bag without feeling guilty. Protect your high-end bags by organizing them with OTG|247 bags and make your investments last longer!  Remember, it takes one lip gloss explosion to ruin a FAB bag.   Schedule time for you! Whether you enjoy taking girls trips, date nights or just a good book in bed, you deserve these moments so don’t deprive yourself of them. Find what recharges your batteries and schedule that time for yourself once a week after work. Keep essentials in your #3 Bag to transition from day to night like, makeup, perfume & other times to freshen up! Above all, everyone has their own path to getting to where they want to go. The most important thing is to not give up, trust the process and love yourself along the way. XOXO Love, Amie #CelebrateShe

Happy New Year! It's a New Year, New Organized You!

Happy New Year! It's a New Year, New Organized You!

New Year, New Organized You!  With the new year comes a fresh start. Of course, everyone sets New Year’s resolutions but not many people can follow through. The major reason we fall short is lack of organization. Crazy how fixing one part of your life brings about a flood of positive change. If you’re looking to get it together this year, allow me, the queen of organization, to give you a few tips to carry into 2019. Start Small We all love the idea of jumping into a new lifestyle headfirst but you have to stay realistic. Let’s say you’re looking to lose weight and keep it off this year. You can make a plan to cut sweets, soda and log 2-hour daily gym sessions but the stress from becoming a brand new person may cause you to quit prematurely. Start small with little life changes. Pack a healthy snack in your Bag #7 to avoid the drive-thrus and keep your pre-workout shake cool before your evening jog. Use One Calendar We’ve all at one point overbooked ourselves. The biggest mistake people make is having multiple calendars. Yes, it’s nice to separate work, personal and social calendars but keeping all of the dates in one place rather than having to search for each calendar saves time and helps to prevent double booking yourself.  I actually use the calendar in my phone- then I can invite work and hubbs for family stuff.  Also, hubbs can see my calendar for kiddo stuff and travel schedule. Then I keep a detailed planner in my Bag #9 with my laptop and a traditional school paper calendar, the thin ones that show the month in full....for visual, but I add all appointments to my phone. Believe it or not, I also store my receipts in a pocket within my planner to help me keep track of extra spending including using my favorite finance apps on the phone so I can be visual and on a realistic budget. Divide and Conquer Remember, Rome wasn’t built in a day. Rather than overload your mind with a major project break it into bite-sized chunks. I keep a master notebook of my list of things to do and I break it down by Work and Personal...nothing makes me happier than crossing things off....so I put everything I have to do on there & obviously keep it in my Bag #8 to have it with me at all times. If you’re thinking about re-landscaping your backyard, section it off. Start with expanding the porch one month and building your dream fire pit next. Not only will your brain thank you for the break from stress but you’ll feel more accomplished every time you mark off another task and move one step closer to completion. Last but not least Prioritize Your List to Do. Mine are FAMILY then WORK.  Delegate anything you can possibly delegate and focus on the ones you actually have to do.  IE, I use grocery delivery. I go one time per month to the store and stock up on all of the pantry items I might need....the big shop. Than I use delivery for the fresh stuff....saves me so much time. Having your OTG Card Case ready for the quick store run makes paying that much quicker! Efficiency is the key to success! Here’s to less stress, brighter smiles, clear minds and organized living in 2019. Happy New Years! Love, Amie #CelebrateShe
