Meet Amie
Amie Swan wasn't trying to start a business—she was trying to save her sanity. As a busy marketing professional and mother, Amie grew tired of the daily treasure hunt through her tote bag. The breaking point came when a leaked pen ruined her favorite designer bag, costing her $800 to replace.
"I was using random ziplock bags and old makeup pouches," Amie recalls. "It worked functionally, but I felt embarrassed pulling out a sandwich bag at business meetings. I wanted something that made me feel as put-together on the outside as I was trying to be on the inside."
When market research revealed that 89% of women shared her frustration but no brand offered a comprehensive solution, Amie knew she had to create it herself. With support from her husband Jack and years of marketing expertise, she designed what would become the industry's first numbered organization system.
