Five Bags I Never Travel Without

When it comes to travel, we all remember to pack a few outfits, our favorite beauty products and (hopefully!) our travel docs. Here’s a list of five OTG|247 bags filled with essentials that are often overlooked but always come with me, whether it’s for a weekend getaway with my family or a solo business trip:
The #1 “I Would be Lost Without” bag
If I could only bring one bag with me, this is the one I would grab. It has 2 straps, so I use the short strap for extra security and loop the bag on to the handle of my tote. I use the long strap as a cross body – you never know what activity (a hike or a concert, for example) will pop up on the travel agenda!
What I pack: A card holder for my credit cards and business cards, coin purse for cash, lip gloss, and my phone.
The #6 “I am SO Techy” bag
I use this bag (without the strap) to keep me connected when I’m on the go.
What I Pack: Laptop and phone chargers, portable chargers, earphones, a mini speaker (sometimes you just need to rock it out), and a selfie stick (I am always prepared for the random group pic).
The #8 “Avoid the HOT MESS Look” bag
I use this bag to keep my outfits looking tidy and put together. TIP: Bring an extra #8 bag for your dirty laundry.
What I pack: Portable Steamer, Tide stick, safety pins, and fashion tape.
The #5 “Do we really trust The Weather Man?” Bag
For whatever reason, I can never get the weather right! I have ruined some fabulous bags/outfits getting caught in the rain. Use this bag to keep you dry on the go.
What I pack: Mini-umbrella, rain cape and (don’t laugh!) a white trash bag with a drawstring. You might think I’m crazy, but it’s helpful when it starts to downpour and you want to protect your bag or anything else you might be carrying .
The #2 “The Show Must Go On” bag
I don’t know about you, but it takes a lot to get me down, especially when traveling. You never know when you are going to come down with a raging headache, whether it be a hangover, stomachache, allergic reaction, paper cut or just exhaustion. I use this bag for all of my provisions to keep me going.
What I pack: Advil, Pepto, Zofran, Benadryl, Claritin, Echinacea, Band-Aids, KIND Bar, and Energy Boost.
